Ingredients
- butter (salted) 1 cup
- shortening (Crisco) ½ cup
- sugar 2 cup
- egg 4 pc
- vanilla extract 2 tsp
- flour, white (white sifted all-purpose) 5 cup
- baking powder 2 tsp
- salt 1 tsp
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
Cream butter, shortening, and sugar together.
Add eggs and vanilla, and mix well.
Mix in flour, salt, and baking powder.
Chill for 1 hour, unless you are hungry for some cookies.
Bake for 6-8 minutes. Don't over bake. I usually remove them before they start browning.
